Good pastries and treats! They have a decent menu and wide options to pick from. Everything looked delicious and was freshly made. The prices are a bit higher than what you'd find at a typical Chinese bakery, but nothing crazy. There's no interior so you'll have to take everything to-go. The worker there was nice and the process was very smooth. Definitely stop by if you're at Pike Place.

Got in line at about 10am on a weekend and there was only one other person. I got the green tea sesame ball and a pork hom bow. Both were fresh and warm and a good size, though a bit pricier than other Asian bakeries. The pork hom bow was loaded with sweet pork filling and the bread was nice and fluffy. The green tea sesame ball was good but didn't taste especially like green tea - it was just bright green. Good spot but I'd only recommend if there's no wait.

I really enjoyed Mee Sum Pastry. There was a line when I came here but it moved very quickly. If there's anything I would recommend getting here it would be the green tea sesame ball and the steamed bbq pork bun. The sesame ball was so chewy and had a sweet filling on the inside. The pork bun was sweet and savory and delicious. Such a yummy combination of flavors. I also got the zongzi which was not my favorite although fun to try. It's sticky rice with a variety of fillings like Chinese sausage, peanuts, and more that I couldn't identify all wrapped in a bamboo leaf. The pork and chive dumpling was delish as well. Overall this is a great spot. Not the cheapest compared to other Asian bakeries I have been to though. The standout items were so worth it! Definitely would come back again. Perfect for a quick snack or treat. Located right outside pikes place.

located on the outer stores of pike place, be sure to check it out! we got the almond cookie, pineapple bun, sesame ball, and bbq pork these are very fresh and they are making more all day! their almond cookie was perfect.. and huge!!! crispy and nostalgic pineapple buns were a little dry to my liking, the inside does not have the typical butter butter slice that i'm used to bbq pork bun was warm and yummy! the pork has a strong flavor of shaoxing wine in my opinion and the inside was a little doughy the main star was the sesame ball!! perfectly crispy and the chewy texture was spot on. perfect red bean ratio and i indulged in each bite!!!

**April 2024: Wednesday Late Morning Visit** My standards for Chinese dim sum is pretty high as I've been eating it all my life. So when I saw this highly rated to-go stall I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype - also, food in Seattle is very expensive so I was looking for something slightly more affordable to eat lol Located in Pikes Place I found the stall and decided on the following. Truffle Shu Mai (I think $2ish): I really enjoyed these. They were plump and meaty. Green Tea Sesame Ball ($3.20): I've only ever had a traditional sesame ball, so I was curious to see what this one would be like. I really enjoyed the black sesame filling and the exterior had a nice chewy mochi texture to it. Curry Beef Hornbow: ($5.45) - It's a tad spicier than what I'm use to, but I think the texture of the bun with filling ratio is good. I think overall, it's a solid grab and go spot! I'd come back again!

Great little stop if you're at Pike Place! I really like their BBQ Pork Buns! I've been here a handful of times, I usually try and go in the morning before it gets too busy with the long lines. BBQ Baked Pork Buns are solid. Their siu mai is large and tasty and I've also tried their pork skewers (which are a bit on the fatty side). Their mooncakes are also very hearty - I had the lotus seed one.

$17 for two pastries. I get that it's in Pike's and rent is probably astronomical but objectively, that's expensive. That being said the pastries are solid. The wife cake had lots of sweet sticky filling, sweeter than I'm used too. The red bean moon cake was delicious. I always love how the salty egg yolk contrasts with the sweet paste filling. The BBQ pork buns looked big and fluffy so maybe I'll try those if there is a next time.

Popular Pike Place purveyor pleases patient patrons with piping hot pork pastries! I ate a lot while walking around the Market, but I wasn't able to try everything I wanted. Mee Sum Pastry was one of the last few spots left on my itinerary, so I ordered from the remaining eateries and brought the food back to the hotel to eat later. Mee Sum Pastry sells lots of Chinese food and baked goods, but their #1 menu item has to be the BBQ Pork Hom Bow. Which I believe is similar to a baked char siu bao essentially? It's a pillowy, golden brown bun with a mostly savory but slightly sweet filling. Mine accidentally got smushed and flattened in my backpack, whoops! But the bun was still mostly fresh and fluffy. I liked the barbecued pork, all were well seasoned and the salt level was perfect. Lots of lean pieces, with a few fatty ones. Only thing off was the meat to bun ratio. The first and last bites were all bread, with not much filling in between. For dessert I got a pineapple bun (bolo bao), which has a diamond pattern crust on top that's similar to the fruit it gets its name from. Crunchy on top, sweet and buttery overall! The line can look intimidating, but it moves fast and it's well worth waiting for!
